The Wombles are the beloved pointy-nosed, furry creatures that live below Wimbledon Common. Orinoco and the gang spend their days doing what they can to look after the environment. However, more often than not, they end up on an exciting adventure. Our furry friends have been inspiring positive environmental change since their TV debut in 1973. The Wombles have been in hibernation since their last TV appearance – ideal for Orinoco, as he is somewhat partial to a nap! But now The Wombles are back, to inspire a new generation. Orinoco is the most loveable of all the Wombles. His free spirit is loved by all, although his relaxed attitude to work certainly doesn’t go unnoticed. And when he’s not playing his guitar, napping, or eating cake, he’s doing what he loves most … helping with the litter collecting and recycling. In keeping with his Womble beliefs, the Steiff Orinoco is made from sustainable linen material and filled using recycled PET plastic bottles. Orinoco is limited to 973 pieces.
