Latest update on the limited-edition Steiff Pikachu collection

Unfortunately, the online pre-launch did not go as planned. Due to unforeseen technical issues, the start of sales was delayed. As soon as sales were able to commence, the collectables available for the pre-launch sold out within a very short time due to exceptionally high demand.

We sincerely regret this – particularly as many interested customers had been waiting a long time and we were unable to provide information on the next steps as intended. We take your feedback very seriously and are carefully reviewing the events surrounding the pre-launch.

The limited-edition Steiff Pikachu collection comprises 1,996 items. As part of the pre-launch, the first 350 items were available exclusively from Steiff.

Delivery of the remaining collectables to our retail partners will take place in stages from 3 August, mainly in September.

Once the items have been handed over, availability and further sales arrangements will be the responsibility of the respective retail partners. For this reason, we are unfortunately unable to provide any definitive information at present regarding when and in what form the collectables will be available in shops.

Since 1996, Pikachu has delighted fans around the world and now receives a very special Steiff interpretation to celebrate 30 years of Pokémon.
