Remember Dumbo, the circus elephant who was ridiculed because of his giant ears until one day he learnt how to use them to fly – straight into the hearts of countless fans? In the 2019 Disney film, he is the star attraction in the Dreamland event park – until strange events occur. For Steiff collectors, Dumbo is an elephant made of finest mohair with intricate paintwork, wonderful ears, embroidered eyes and a gold-plated “Button in Ear”.
