In 2016, the Year of the Monkey, the Japanese edition of the Miniature Zodiac series was launched. Each year a new animal is introduced to match the sign of the zodiac. 2024 is the Year of the Dragon - and here it is. Lovingly crafted from green mohair, his yellow wings raised in confidence, the 13 cm tall dragon seems to look expectantly into the New Year. And rightly so, for in Chinese astrology the dragon represents power and good fortune. He is adorned with a chest tag bearing the Chinese character for “dragon”.
