Named for the Steiff designer who created it, this little elephant was developed to complement the Pablo Teddy bear. It’s part of the "Designer’s Choice" series of bear and elephant sets inspired by famous artists. Katrin is sewn from finest mohair, with rhomboid patches representing the harlequin motif present in many early Picasso paintings. Katrin sits atop a die-cut felt pad, which is similar to the base used with the little felt elephant created by Margarete Steiff.
