The cut-off time for processing and shipping orders is 12:00 pm Eastern Time. Any orders placed after 12 Eastern Time will be processed the following business day (This excludes holidays and Weekends). Steiff North America's business days are Monday to Friday,

Expedited Shipping

  • 2 Business days via UPS 2-day Air service (Monday through Friday delivery, excludes holidays)
  • Orders must be placed by 12pm to ship the same day. Orders placed after the cut-off will ship the following day via UPS 2-day.

Duty, Customs, Taxes and Foreign Transaction Fees

There may be duty, taxes, and foreign transaction fees imposed on your order that aren't reflected in our prices. Check with your local Customs office and card issuer for those charges. In addition, some countries may charge an additional handling fee for delivery within that country. Steiff North America is NOT RESPONSIBLE for any of the duty, customs, taxes, and foreign transaction fees.

Return Policy

Returning Merchandise

When you receive your order, always keep the paperwork that is included with it in case you wish to return or exchange an item. Also, save any emails you receive about your order, as they may provide important information.

A return merchandise authorization (RMA) is required for all returns. You can request an RMA via email at usa.service@steiff.com. Please provide your order number and the items you wish to return, and we will issue one for you. Steiff North America's hours of operation are 9:00 am to 5:00 pm EST Monday through Friday. Returns can only be requested within 30 days of the product shipment date. Your order must be returned to Steiff North America, Inc. in order to receive full product credit. Returned items must be in their original packaging and in new condition, or they will be rejected and sent back to you. Merchandise will be accepted for return within 30 days of receipt. Some items may not be eligible for return. Customers are responsible for learning about specific return restrictions associated with specific products or promotions.

Limited Edition returns are not eligible for a full refund unless the outer cardboard box is unopened and the brown tape is sealed. If a Limited Edition is returned in an opened outer box, a refund of 50% of the item's total retail value will be issued.

Defective Returns
If the item you wish to return is inoperable but has no apparent damage, it is considered defective. If you receive defective merchandise, please contact Steiff North America, Inc. via email at usa.service@steiff.com for assistance.

Damaged Returns
Damaged merchandise includes items that have been damaged in shipping. If a shipment arrives at your door with obvious shipping damage, please refuse the delivery. If you have already accepted delivery and then find shipping damage, immediately contact Steiff North America, Inc. via email at usa.service@steiff.com.

If you receive damaged merchandise, please save all packaging material and paperwork. If you attempt to return the merchandise yourself, you jeopardize our chances of making a claim, and you may not receive credit for the return.

Order Questions or Changes
If you have recently placed an order via the Steiff Online Store and need information about it or would like to change it, the fastest way to get immediate assistance is to contact us via email at usa.service@steiff.com. Since we begin processing your order immediately after we receive it, changes or modifications to your order may not be possible.
